Some people don't like the mechanical part of the job so much as the boiler and detail portions. These you are ready to do if you have information on the locomotive, and have done related work such as loco or medium skill level car kits. EDDYSTONE builds Bowser mechanism kits which can start you on your way. All kits have blackened parts so you don't have to disassemble, paint, and reassemble. All of our mechanism kits have been tested, and come to you ready to use. The 69" USRA 4-6-2 can be used with Athearn, IHC and Rivarossi light USRA Pacific body parts. The 63" USRA 2-8-2 can be used with Athearn, IHC and Rivarossi 2-8-2 parts. The PRR K4 4-6-2 can be used with Rivarossi USRA Heavy Pacific parts, and some Hudson models' parts. The USRA 4-8-2 can be used with IHC and Bachmann USRA 4-8-2 parts. We can also supply you with different trailer trucks, and perhaps variations in valve gear to suit your specific needs. Just ask.
